Bollywood actress Esha Deol recently shared three glamorous photos on social media, revealing the emotional struggle she is going through following the passing of her legendary father, Dharmendra. In her post, she candidly addressed the compulsion of work commitments that have forced her back to social media, despite her personal desire to take a break and mourn privately.
Dharmendra, one of Bollywood’s most iconic and handsome actors, passed away on 24 November at the age of 89. His demise left a void in the Deol family and among fans worldwide. Esha, deeply affected by the loss, admitted that the grief has been overwhelming, but work obligations have required her to remain active online.
Sharing Her Photos with a Heavy Heart
Approximately 25 days after her father’s passing, Esha posted three photos originally intended for a magazine shoot. She explained, “These photos were to be published in November as part of a cover I had shot. Here they are. I will also share some more changes for this season. Lots of love.”
She further expressed her emotions in her Instagram Story, asking fans to understand her current predicament and the reason she has returned to social media despite her grief.
A Loss That Can Never Be Healed
Esha wrote, “If it were up to me, I would have taken a break from social media to grieve. However, work commitments require me to continue. Please understand me as a person, and more importantly, as a daughter who is still coming to terms with losing her dearest father. This is a loss I will never recover from.”
She added, “If things were in my hands, I would not have returned to this platform yet. I simply wanted some time away. But I cannot. So, please be kind and understanding. Thank you for all the love and support.”
Sanjeev Deol Also Struggling to Cope
Esha’s brother, Sunny Deol, has also been visibly affected. At the recent trailer launch of his upcoming film Border-2, Sunny appeared visibly emotional, with red, teary eyes. Despite the grief, he managed to perform his duties on stage, delivering his dialogues with dedication while maintaining composure.
Currently, Esha is engaged with multiple photoshoots and advertisements, balancing professional commitments with personal grief, showing immense strength in navigating this difficult period.
