‘Ek Din’ Release Date Announced: Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan’s Snowy Romance Steals the Spotlight

The first look of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s third film, Ek Din, has been unveiled, featuring him alongside South star Sai Pallavi. The makers have also announced the film’s release date, which is set to hit theaters in five months.

First Look Revealed
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Aamir Khan Productions released the first poster of Ek Din on 15 January 2026. The poster shows Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi enjoying ice cream amidst snowfall, radiating romance against the chilly backdrop. The caption reads: “In the turmoil of life, love will find you… Ek Din.”

Director, Producer, and Crew
The film is directed by Sunil Pandey, with the story penned by Sneha Desai and Spanand Mishra. Producers include Mansoor Khan, Aamir Khan, and Aparna Purohit, while the music is composed by Ram Sampath, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Junaid Khan also serves as an associate producer alongside Shreyas Khedekar.

A Remake of a Thai Film
When asked about the story, the makers confirmed that Ek Din is a remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day, being adapted for the Hindi audience under the same name.

Release Date
Alongside the first look poster, the makers announced that Ek Din will release theatrically on 1 May 2026.

Junaid Khan’s Third Film
Junaid Khan made his acting debut in 2024 with Maharaj, released on Netflix. His second film, Luvyapa (2025), featured Khushi Kapoor. Ek Din marks his third cinematic outing. Originally, the film was titled Mere Raho.

Sai Pallavi’s Second Hindi Film
Sai Pallavi, primarily known for her work in South Indian cinema, is making her Bollywood comeback after her debut with Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayan. Ek Din will be her second Hindi film, further cementing her presence in the Hindi film industry.

With its snowy romance and talented cast, Ek Din is already creating buzz among fans eagerly waiting for the May release.
