‘Dhurandhar’ Advance Booking Skyrockets: Ticket Sales Jump 394% in 36 Hours With Two Days Still to Go

With just two days left for the release of Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated spy-action film ‘Dhurandhar’, advance booking numbers have exploded. Despite bookings being open for only limited shows, the film has recorded a staggering 394% surge in ticket sales within the last 36 hours.

According to data updated till Wednesday, 10 AM, the film is currently accepting pre-bookings for 2,979 shows, and the rapid spike in sales strongly hints at a thunderous opening day this Friday, 5 December, when the film hits theatres worldwide.

A Mega Release With Record Runtime

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is among the biggest Bollywood releases of 2025. The censor board has cleared the film with an ‘A’ certificate, making it the first adult-rated film of Ranveer Singh’s career.

The runtime is another talking point:
3 hours, 34 minutes, 1 second — the longest Hindi film in the last 20 years.
The last film to hold this record was Jodhaa Akbar (2008), which clocked in at 3 hours 33 minutes.

Ticket Sales Show Massive Acceleration

Featuring Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and child actress Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar opened limited advance bookings over the weekend.

  • Monday, 6 PM: 9,274 tickets sold
  • Wednesday, 10 AM: 45,811 tickets sold
  • Number of shows increased from 2,313 to 2,979

This marks a dramatic 394% spike in advance ticket sales within a day and a half.
