Addressing fans’ curiosity, Dhar took to Instagram Stories on Friday morning to respond to a fan’s viral meme urging him to release the teaser without delay. Re-sharing the post, the director offered a brief but reassuring update, writing: “The teaser will arrive in a few days!”

While Dhar did not disclose an official release date, industry buzz suggests that the teaser could drop around January 26, adding to the Republic Day excitement. However, it is now confirmed that audiences watching Border 2 in theatres will not get even a glimpse of Dhurandhar 2.

The sequel has been one of the most eagerly awaited projects since Dhurandhar emerged as a major success. This subtle detail has fuelled theories that Dhar may be building a shared cinematic universe, though no official confirmation has been made.
