Dharmendra’s Ashes Immersed in Ganga; Sunny Deol Confronts Paparazzi in Haridwar: “How Much Money Do You Want?”

Haridwar, December 3:
The ashes of legendary Bollywood icon Dharmendra were immersed in the holy Ganga at Har Ki Pauri on Wednesday. The ceremony was carried out in the presence of the entire Deol family, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Dharmendra’s grandson Karan Deol, who performed the rituals with full Vedic traditions. Emotional moments unfolded as Karan, overwhelmed with grief, broke down during the immersion.

According to reports, the rituals were conducted at 9:30 AM, after which the family proceeded to the Pilibhit Hotel in Haridwar. There, they took a ceremonial bath at the private ghat located behind the property.

Sunny Deol Loses Cool at Paparazzi

A video from the site has gone viral on social media, showing Sunny Deol confronting a paparazzo who was attempting to capture the private rituals. Visibly upset over the intrusion during a deeply personal moment, Sunny reportedly snatched the camera from the photographer and reprimanded him, asking, “How much money do you want?”

Sources from Dainik Bhaskar quoted Sunny Deol’s manager as saying that the family wanted to conduct the rituals peacefully, away from media glare. The sudden presence of photographers during the solemn ceremony agitated the actor.

Family Reached Haridwar on Tuesday

Sunny Deol and his family had arrived in Haridwar on December 2 with Dharmendra’s ashes. The immersion was initially planned for Tuesday, but due to the late arrival of one family member, the ritual was postponed to Wednesday. Shortly after completing the rites and bathing ritual, the entire family returned to Mumbai.

A clip from Har Ki Pauri is still circulating online, capturing the emotional atmosphere and the heavy security surrounding the Deol family.
