Deepika Padukone Launches “The Onset Program” to Nurture Emerging Creative Talent

Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone celebrated her 40th birthday on 5 January 2026 with a special initiative aimed at supporting the next generation of creative talent. On this milestone occasion, the actor, producer, and mental health advocate announced the launch of “The Onset Program”, a platform designed to give aspiring artists a chance to showcase their skills in the Indian film, television, and advertising industry.

Expanding on her earlier “Create With Me” initiative, Deepika’s new program seeks to identify, nurture, and mentor young talent. “The Onset Program” aims to provide emerging creatives with opportunities to learn, gain hands-on experience, and work on real-world projects. The first phase of the program will include training and experience in areas such as writing, directing, cinematography, lighting, editing, sound, art direction, costume design, hair styling, makeup, and production.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Deepika said, “Over the past year, I have been deeply committed to discovering and supporting the finest creative talent from India and abroad. I am thrilled to announce the launch of The Onset Program and cannot wait to introduce all of you to the next generation of creative talent.”

The platform, now live at onsetprogram.in, allows participants to submit their work and gain the chance to collaborate with some of the best professionals in the industry. Deepika Padukone’s initiative is set to provide a strong, supportive platform for young artists to not only showcase their abilities but also take significant steps in building their careers.

With this initiative, Deepika continues to champion creativity, mentorship, and inclusivity, giving talented newcomers a long-awaited opportunity to shine.
