Among the most loved characters is Inspector Abhijeet, played by actor Aditya Srivastava. Recently, the actor once again grabbed headlines after photos and videos of him dressed as a groom went viral on social media — leaving fans wondering if he had remarried.

Not a Wedding — It Was an Anniversary Celebration
Aditya Srivastava has been happily married for many years. He tied the knot with Mansi Srivastava in 2003, and the couple are parents to two daughters — Aarushi and Advika.
The circulating photos were clicked during the couple’s wedding anniversary celebration on 22 November, not a wedding ceremony. The actor was seen wearing traditional groom attire as part of the celebration theme, and his wife Mansi was also present at the event along with close friends and family.
Despite this, many fans initially believed the actor had gotten married again, sparking a wave of reactions online.
Fans React With Nostalgia and Humour
Long-time viewers expressed their affection and nostalgia in the comments.
One fan wrote, “I’ve been watching CID since childhood, and now my kids are grown up. It feels like Abhijeet sir is family.”

Despite his wide-ranging work, he admits that the audience still identifies him most strongly as Inspector Abhijeet, a character he portrayed for many years.
