Veteran screenwriter and Bollywood legend Salim Khan, father of actor Salman Khan, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and is currently under treatment in the ICU. According to hospital sources, his condition is said to be stable, though he remains under strict medical observation.
Since the news of his hospitalization surfaced, a large number of family members, close friends, and prominent Bollywood personalities have been visiting the hospital to check on his health.
Salman Khan Reaches Hospital Late at Night
On Tuesday night, Salman Khan was seen arriving at Lilavati Hospital once again, accompanied by several members of the Khan family. His convoy of vehicles was spotted outside the hospital premises, drawing attention from the media and fans.
Family members including Alvira Khan, Arpita Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and other relatives were also seen at the hospital. Salman Khan’s stepmother Helen and mother Salma Khan arrived together in the same vehicle, reflecting the family’s concern and unity during the difficult time.
Sanjay Dutt and Javed Akhtar Also Visit
Several Bollywood celebrities visited Salim Khan late at night. Actor Sanjay Dutt arrived to meet the senior writer and offer support to the family. Renowned lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar, a close friend of Salim Khan, was also spotted at the hospital.
Reports Suggest Health Complications
According to media reports, Salim Khan is believed to have suffered a blood clot in the head, which reportedly caused dizziness. Another report suggested that he experienced breathing difficulties, following which he was rushed to the hospital.
However, doctors have not officially confirmed the exact medical condition, maintaining patient confidentiality.
Health Bulletin to Be Released on February 18
Dr. Jalil Parker, who is part of the medical team treating Salim Khan, stated that a detailed health bulletin will be issued on Wednesday, February 18, after receiving consent from the family. The official update is expected around 11:00 AM.
Salim Khan is currently being monitored by a team of specialists, including neurologists, cardiologists, and neurosurgeons.
Last Public Appearance
Salim Khan was last seen in public in January 2026 during his son Sohail Khan’s birthday celebration. He had celebrated his 90th birthday in November 2025.
The film industry and fans continue to pray for his speedy recovery as the Khan family remains by his side.
