Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues to break records, proving that Hindi cinema’s dominance is far from over. Even on its 46th day of release, the film has raked in crores, outperforming other recent releases despite being a single-language release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has become a benchmark for box office success, with its momentum unaffected by weekends or weekdays.
Domestic Collection Highlights
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned ₹1.31 crore net on Monday, its 46th day—a remarkable feat for a film in its seventh week. The film has now amassed ₹826.41 crore net domestically. In comparison, previous record-holder Pushpa 2 collected ₹65 lakh net on its 7th Monday (Telugu + Hindi combined).
Dhurandhar has already surpassed Pushpa 2 in the Hindi market, securing the highest-ever lifetime net collection for a Hindi version of a Pan-India film. While the original Telugu Allu Arjun film earned ₹1,234.10 crore net worldwide, ₹812.14 crore came from the Hindi version alone. Dhurandhar, made on a ₹280 crore budget, has now asserted its dominance in the Hindi box office.
Overseas Performance
The film has also performed strongly overseas, earning ₹294.10 crore in 46 days. Combined with the domestic gross of ₹990.90 crore, the worldwide total stands at ₹1,283.50 crore.
Impact on New Releases
The upcoming release of Border 2 on 23 January 2026 is expected to reduce Dhurandhar’s show count, but the film is likely to continue earning crores until then. Meanwhile, new releases Happy Patel and Rahu Ketu have struggled on their first Monday.
- Happy Patel, starring Vir Das under an Aamir Khan production, earned only ₹48 lakh net on its fourth day, bringing its four-day total to ₹4.83 crore.
- Rahu Ketu, starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, fared slightly better, collecting ₹49 lakh net on Monday and ₹4.89 crore over four days.
The Raja Saab
Prabhas’ horror-comedy The Raja Saab, made on a ₹300 crore budget, continues to underperform. Despite a strong opening weekend crossing ₹100 crore, the 11-day net collection stands at ₹140.49 crore. The Hindi version has contributed only ₹23.53 crore, with Monday adding ₹1.17 crore. Worldwide, the film has barely crossed the ₹200 crore gross mark.
With Dhurandhar continuing its stronghold, the Hindi audience’s preference for high-octane, performance-driven cinema remains clear—even as multiple new releases compete for screens and viewers.
