Box Office Update: ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ Surpasses ‘Masti 4’ and ‘120 Bahadur’

The past week’s releases, 120 Bahadur and Masti 4, continue to perform modestly at the box office, with growth resembling a slow-moving bicycle. Among these, Masti 4 appears to be slightly ahead in momentum. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De 2 is steadily approaching the ₹100 crore mark.

‘120 Bahadur’ – A Tribute to Heroism
Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur is based on the historic Rezang La battle fought during the India-China war of 1962. Directed by Rajneesh “Rajee” Ghai, the film features Farhan as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, highlighting the bravery of 120 soldiers from India’s 13 Kumaon Regiment against 3,000 Chinese troops.

According to Sacnilk reports, 120 Bahadur earned ₹1.50 crore on Tuesday, taking its total domestic collection to ₹13 crore. Worldwide, the film has garnered approximately ₹15 crore in four days and is now nearing ₹16 crore in its fifth day.

‘Masti 4’ – Adult Comedy Gains Traction
The adult comedy franchise’s latest installment, starring Vivek Oberoi, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani, is gradually picking up speed. On its fifth day, Masti 4 earned ₹1.60 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹11.70 crore. Globally, the film has crossed the ₹15 crore mark in just five days.

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ – Steady Climb to ₹100 Crore
Produced on a budget of ₹135 crore, De De Pyaar De 2 explores love across generations. On its twelfth day, the film earned ₹1.75 crore domestically, taking its total box office collection in India to ₹64.95 crore. Worldwide, it has amassed ₹97.50 crore in just 11 days, inching closer to the ₹100 crore milestone.

As audiences continue to flock to cinemas, it remains to be seen which of these releases will sustain momentum in the coming week.
