Bollywood veteran Jitendra, though often away from the limelight, frequently makes headlines due to his impressive real estate holdings and staggering net worth. Following a previous ₹855 crore property sale, Jitendra and his son Tusshar Kapoor have now sold another commercial property in Mumbai for ₹559 crore.
Mumbai Chandivali Property Sale
Jitendra and Tusshar sold a commercial property in Mumbai’s Chandivali area to a unit of Japan’s NTT Group for ₹559.24 crore. According to reports, Jitendra’s net worth is estimated between ₹1,500 and ₹1,600 crore. His son Tusshar, also an actor, has a net worth of ₹90–100 crore, while daughter Ekta Kapoor, a renowned television producer, is valued at ₹115 crore.
Real estate advisory firm Square Yards shared registration documents on Tuesday, confirming that NTT Global Data Centers purchased over 30,195 sq. meters at Balaji IT Park from Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited, a company co-owned by Jitendra and Tusshar. The registration was completed on January 9, 2026.
Details of the Property
The property includes a 10-story building with a data center (DC-10) and an adjoining four-story diesel generator structure located in suburban Chandivali. According to the government’s 2024 proposal, no stamp duty is applicable for this sale, though a metro cess of ₹5.59 lakh has been paid. This follows a previous high-profile transaction in May 2025 when Jitendra sold another property worth ₹855 crore.
Jitendra’s Net Worth and Career
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jitendra’s wealth is estimated at $200 million (approximately ₹1,600–1,700 crore). He has appeared in over 200 films between the 1960s and 1980s and remains one of Bollywood’s iconic stars. His income sources include earnings from films, Balaji Telefilms and productions, real estate investments, and other ventures.
The recent Chandivali deal further cements Jitendra and Tusshar Kapoor’s reputation as some of Bollywood’s most successful investors in the real estate market.
