‘Bigg Boss OTT’ Discontinued: Makers Announce No Fourth Season

A major update has emerged regarding the reality show Bigg Boss OTT. The makers have confirmed that this version of the show will no longer be aired. From now on, Hindi audiences will have only one Bigg Boss, which will be available simultaneously on both television and OTT platforms.

Update on Bigg Boss OTT
The controversial reality show Bigg Boss has dominated Indian television for the past 19 years. To cater to digital audiences, three seasons of Bigg Boss OTT were launched, each lasting between 1.5 to 2 months. Fans who were eagerly waiting for the fourth season of Bigg Boss OTT will now have to let go of their expectations, as the makers have taken a surprising decision.

According to Bigg Boss Tak, Bigg Boss OTT Hindi has been cancelled indefinitely. The decision ensures that going forward, there will be only one Bigg Boss in Hindi, accessible on both TV and digital platforms. The makers intend for viewers to enjoy the show without being restricted to either medium, similar to the arrangement during Bigg Boss 19.

Hosts and Winners of Bigg Boss OTT

  • Bigg Boss OTT Season 1 was hosted by Karan Johar, with Divya Agarwal emerging as the winner.
  • Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 saw Salman Khan as host, and Elvish Yadav won the title.
  • Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 was hosted by Anil Kapoor, with Sana Makbul taking the crown.

The anticipated fourth season will no longer be produced, marking the end of the separate OTT format.

Audience Reaction
Fans have largely supported the decision. One user commented, “There is no need for a separate OTT version when the TV version is available for streaming.” Another added, “Bigg Boss OTT seems redundant when the regular Bigg Boss can be watched online.”

With this decision, the makers aim to unify the viewership experience while continuing the legacy of the iconic reality franchise.
