Bharti Singh Gets Emotional on Meeting Newborn Son, Shares Update on Return to ‘Laughter Chefs 3’

Popular comedian and television personality Bharti Singh is going through an emotional yet joyful phase as she recently welcomed her second child. Bharti is currently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, where she gave birth to a baby boy on December 19 through a cesarean delivery. Both the mother and the newborn are reported to be healthy.

Bharti has been keeping her fans updated through regular vlogs from the hospital. In her latest video, she shared a deeply emotional moment as she met her newborn son, lovingly named Kaju. While she chose not to reveal the baby’s face yet—saying fans will have to wait three months for that—her emotions were clearly visible.

Emotional Family Moment

The vlog also captured a touching family reunion, as Bharti’s elder son Laksh visited the hospital to meet his baby brother for the first time. Seeing both her sons together left the comedian overwhelmed. Bharti became emotional when Laksh came to see her, repeatedly asking, “Mumma, are you okay?”—a moment that moved many viewers.

Earlier, Bharti had shared that she was taken to the hospital after her water broke and that although she had hoped for a daughter, she is equally happy and grateful to welcome a son. Her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa had initially described the newborn as “very cute” even before Bharti herself could meet him.

When Will Bharti Return to ‘Laughter Chefs 3’?

Bharti also addressed fans’ questions about her return to the popular comedy show ‘Laughter Chefs 3’. Speaking candidly, she said that she believes in manifesting positivity and plans to return soon, but will have to skip two episodes due to her recovery.

“I still have stitches, but they are very normal. I think I won’t be able to do two episodes,” Bharti said in her vlog.

Going by her previous experience—when she returned to work just 12 days after her first delivery—fans expect her to be back on set soon. Reports suggest that Bharti may miss around four episodes this time before making her comeback.

Arjun Bijlani to Step In as Host

In Bharti’s absence, actor Arjun Bijlani has been roped in to host Laughter Chefs 3. Arjun was earlier seen as a contestant in the first season alongside Karan Kundrra, but will now take on hosting duties until Bharti resumes shooting.
