Arjun Bijlani Pays Emotional Tribute to Father-in-Law: “Don’t Worry, Papa, I’ll Take Care of Neha and Ayaan”

Actor Arjun Bijlani recently lost his father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami, who passed away on January 1, 2026, following a sudden stroke. The news came as a shock to the family, just as they were celebrating the New Year in Dubai. Arjun and his wife Neha immediately rushed back to be with their loved ones, but tragically, Rakesh Chandra Swami could not be saved.

In the days following the loss, Arjun shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, posting pictures with his father-in-law alongside Neha and their son Ayaan. The post reflected the deep bond and affection Arjun shared with his father-in-law.

Addressing his late father-in-law, Arjun wrote:
“Om Shanti, Papa. Your words and teachings will always stay with us. Don’t worry, I’ll take full care of Neha and Ayaan. Sending you all my love forever.”

Sudden Demise at 73
Rakesh Chandra Swami was 73 years old. Reports suggest that he suffered a sudden stroke and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was placed on a ventilator. Despite medical efforts, he could not be revived. The unexpected loss has left the entire family, including Neha and Arjun, devastated.

Family Recalls the Tragic Incident
According to a family member speaking to Hindustan Times, Rakesh Chandra Swami had been perfectly healthy and was about to have dinner when he suffered the stroke. The family, still reeling from the sudden tragedy, described the incident as an overwhelming shock, especially since Arjun and Neha had recently visited them before leaving for their New Year holiday.

Arjun’s emotional post stands as a moving tribute, highlighting his promise to honor his father-in-law’s memory by caring for his family.
