Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh has retired from singing and is now venturing into filmmaking. While fans may no longer hear his iconic voice on tracks, his personal life, family, and net worth have come into the spotlight.

Early Life and Career
Arijit Singh was born on 25 April 1987 in Murshidabad, West Bengal. His father, Kakkar Singh, was Sikh, and his mother is Aditi Singh. He studied at Shripat Singh College and participated in the reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005, finishing sixth.

Over his career, Arijit has sung around 715 songs in 10 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Assamese, and Punjabi. He has also composed 28 songs in Hindi and Bengali and lent his voice to stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Kartik Aaryan, winning 122 awards, including 2 National Awards.

Marriages and Children
Arijit has been married twice. His first marriage was to Fame Gurukul contestant Ruprekha Banerjee in 2013, which ended within a year. In 2014, he married childhood friend Koyal Roy at Tarapith Temple. Koyal, previously divorced, has a daughter from her first marriage, whom Arijit also considers his own. The couple has two sons, whose details they keep private.

Net Worth and Lifestyle
Arijit Singh reportedly charges ₹8–10 crore per show. His net worth is estimated at ₹414 crore, earned through live concerts, advertisements, and playback singing. He owns four apartments in Versova, Mumbai, each valued at around ₹9 crore, and drives luxury vehicles including a Range Rover, Hummer H3, and Mercedes-Benz. For a 2-hour live concert, he earns approximately ₹14 crore.

Arijit Singh now plans to focus on film direction and production, with his upcoming Hindi movie starring his son and Shora Siddiqui, daughter of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
