Arbaaz Patel Proposes to Nikki Tamboli on National TV; Actress Breaks Down in Tears

In a heartfelt moment on the reality show “The 50”, actor Arbaaz Patel proposed to his girlfriend Nikki Tamboli, who is three years his senior. The emotional proposal left Nikki in tears as she openly expressed her feelings and the challenges the couple faces due to family opposition.

The latest episode of The 50 was filled with action, drama, romance, and emotions. Reality stars Urfi Javed and Nia Sharma, promoting their project Splitsvilla Mischief Makers, hosted tasks for the contestants. With Valentine’s Day approaching, the tasks included entertainment challenges where male contestants had to impress the female participants. Tensions flared between contestants Prince Narula, Sivet Tomar, Arbaaz Patel, and Rajat Dalal, leading to a heated exchange.

After reconciliation orchestrated by “The Lion,” the stage was set for Arbaaz’s romantic gesture. The actor chose this moment to propose to Nikki, expressing his love in front of a national audience:

“My heart is racing. She has always told me that we never had an official proposal or truly expressed our feelings. I decided that the very stage that brought us together and gave me such a beautiful partner is where I will finally share my heart.”

Arbaaz then descended from the stage and knelt before Nikki, pouring his heart out:

“She is incredibly strong, and I am strong too. I used to get angry easily, even with my family, but when I see her, I calm down. No matter how angry I am or how much I want to argue, seeing her is enough to bring peace. I love you so much.”

Family Opposition Over Religion

Despite their love, Nikki revealed that her father is not yet supportive of the relationship due to their different religious backgrounds. She said:

“I have always dreamed of this moment, but there is fear because we belong to different faiths. We have been together for over a year and a half. My father has not accepted this, but I followed my mother’s guidance—to never sacrifice your love for anyone. My father’s love is one thing, and a partner’s love is another. I hope he understands because I truly love Arbaaz Patel.”
