Arbaaz Patel Proposes to Nikki Tamboli on National Television, Actress Breaks Down in Tears

\Reality television witnessed an emotional moment when actor and contestant Arbaaz Patel proposed marriage to his girlfriend Nikki Tamboli during the latest episode of the popular reality show ‘The 50’. The heartfelt proposal left Nikki overwhelmed, as she broke down in tears and spoke openly about the challenges their relationship is facing due to religious differences.

The episode was packed with drama, action, and romance as celebrity guests Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma entered the show to promote their upcoming project and engage contestants in special tasks. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, the guests encouraged male contestants to entertain their female partners and earn coins through performances.

However, tensions escalated soon after their arrival, as heated arguments erupted between contestants Prince Narula, Siwet Tomar, Arbaaz Patel, and Rajat Dalal, creating intense drama inside the house.

Later, when Arbaaz’s turn came during the event, he decided to make the moment memorable by expressing his love for Nikki publicly. Speaking emotionally, Arbaaz said he chose the show’s platform for the proposal because it was the place where their bond began.

“My heartbeat is racing right now. She always told me we never officially proposed to each other or expressed our emotions openly. I decided that the platform which brought us together should also be the place where I finally express my feelings,” he said.

Arbaaz then walked down from the stage, brought Nikki forward, and went down on one knee, declaring his love and admiration for her strength. He further revealed how Nikki had changed him emotionally.

“I used to be very angry and never stayed calm, even with my own family. But when I see her, I automatically calm down. No matter how furious I feel, just looking at her makes me peaceful. I love you so much,” Arbaaz stated.

The emotional proposal deeply moved Nikki Tamboli, who shared that she had always dreamt of such a moment, but also feared the consequences due to their different religious backgrounds. She revealed that her father is not supportive of their relationship.

“This is the moment I always wanted, but I am scared too because we belong to different religions. We have been together for one and a half years. My father is not accepting this relationship, and I did not follow his decision,” Nikki said, holding back tears.

She further added that her mother taught her never to sacrifice love for anyone, expressing hope that her father would eventually understand her feelings.

“My father’s love is different and a partner’s love is different. I hope my father will understand this, because I truly love Arbaaz Patel,” she said.

The moment also left several contestants emotional, with some housemates visibly teary-eyed while cheering the couple.

Nikki Tamboli and Arbaaz Patel reportedly first met during Bigg Boss Marathi 5, where they described their bond as “love at first sight.” Despite being three years younger, Arbaaz’s calm and composed personality won Nikki’s heart. The couple made their relationship public in October 2024 and have since been seen supporting each other through various reality shows.
