Aman Preet Singh, Brother of Rakul Preet Singh, Named in Drug Case; Arrested Previously in 2024

Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Aman Preet Singh, has once again come under the spotlight in a drug-related case. The Hyderabad police have reportedly issued an arrest warrant against him as he remains absconding. Aman, who is also an actor, had previously been arrested in 2024 in a similar case.

Details of the Drug Seizure
According to reports by Aaj Tak, on 19 December 2025, Hyderabad’s Masab Tank police station received information about a drug deal. Following a raid, authorities recovered a car in a park containing over 43 grams of cocaine and more than 11 grams of MDMA.

Connection with Nigerian Dealers
Investigations revealed that Nitin Singhania, a real estate broker from Malakpet, and businessman Shranik Singhvi from Troop Baja were importing drugs from Nigerian suppliers. The deliveries were reportedly made via African courier services in Hyderabad. Subsequent interrogations led to the arrest of two African nationals on 24 December, which then implicated Aman Preet Singh. He is alleged to have procured drugs from these Nigerian dealers.

Previous Arrest in 2024
Aman had previously been arrested by the Hyderabad Police’s Narcotics Bureau in a joint operation with the Rajendra Nagar SOT in 2024. During that investigation, he was named among 13 individuals who tested positive for drug consumption. He was also among five people arrested on charges of drug trafficking.

Aman was born on 1 April 1993 to Kulvinder Singh and Rajendra Singh, a retired Colonel from the Indian Army. His sister, Rakul Preet Singh, is a popular Bollywood actress married to producer Jackky Bhagnani. Like his sister, Aman is an actor and works primarily in the Telugu film industry.
