Released in 2024, Pushpa 2 became a phenomenon at the box office, breaking records across India and internationally. At the 70th Filmfare South Awards, the film emerged as the biggest winner, bagging five major awards across categories.

On the commercial front, Pushpa 2 has been unstoppable. The film collected over ₹1,800 crore globally, with nearly ₹1,400 crore earned within India across all languages. The Hindi belt also contributed significantly to these numbers.

The film’s opening day alone was record-breaking. While contemporaries like RRR and KGF collected ₹133 crore and ₹116 crore respectively on their first day, Pushpa 2 smashed expectations with a staggering ₹163 crore, outperforming both films.

With its perfect blend of high-octane action, captivating performances, and technical finesse, Pushpa 2 has set a new benchmark for South Indian cinema, proving its mettle both at the box office and in critical acclaim.
