Akshaye Khanna’s Brother Rahul Has Yet to Watch “Dhurandhar,” Awaits a Special Viewing

While the recently released film “Dhurandhar” continues to win hearts and accolades worldwide, Akshaye Khanna’s brother, Rahul Khanna, has still not seen the film. Rahul revealed the reason for this in a candid conversation, sharing that he is waiting for a special moment to watch his brother’s performance.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, “Dhurandhar” features Akshaye Khanna in the role of Rehman Daku, and his performance has received widespread praise. The spy-thriller has also broken box office records, becoming one of the top five highest-grossing films in India. As of its 31st day, the film has earned ₹772.25 crore in India and crossed ₹1,200 crore globally, continuing its stronghold on the box office.

Despite this massive success, Rahul Khanna has not yet watched the film in theaters. Speaking to Mid-Day, he said,
“I haven’t watched the film yet. I am waiting for Akshaye to show it to me. Whatever he wears, he makes it look incredible. I’m sure he looks amazing in this too.”

A Close Bond Between Brothers
Akshaye Khanna previously spoke about his relationship with Rahul, noting,
“My bond with my brother has always been different from that with our parents. As we grow older, the relationships you have left become even more precious.”

Box Office Dominance Continues
Even 31 days after its release on 5 December 2025, “Dhurandhar” continues to dominate the box office. On its 31st day, the film earned ₹12.75 crore in India. Starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan, the film’s highly anticipated sequel is set to release on 19 March 2026.
