Akshay Kumar Jokes About Karisma Kapoor Owning a Flat in Every Bandra Building on TV Show

Actor Akshay Kumar, who has recently returned to television with his game show Wheel of Fortune, left audiences in splits with his humorous remarks about actress Karisma Kapoor’s properties. Karisma appeared as a contestant on the show, where apart from playing the game, she also shared light-hearted banter with the host.

During the episode, Akshay jokingly claimed that Karisma Kapoor and her family own a flat in almost every building in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area. Teasing the actress, he said that outside every building there is a nameplate reading “K Kapoor,” while her mother Babita Kapoor’s nameplate reads “B Kapoor.” He further quipped that Karisma does not even write her full name, as just the surname is enough.

Taking the joke further, Akshay humorously added that when he once asked the Kapoor family why they needed so many flats, they replied that they wanted easy access to nearby areas like Santacruz and Khar. He jokingly praised their “honesty,” saying they buy only one flat per building and leave the rest for others. He even went on to claim, in jest, that Karisma spends each night in a different flat.

Karisma Kapoor responded with laughter and did not miss the chance to give it back. She countered Akshay’s claims by saying, “Do you know, he owns the entire Juhu area,” dismissing his remarks as pure exaggeration.

This is not the first time Akshay Kumar has made playful comments about the Kapoor sisters’ real estate holdings. Earlier, on The Great Indian Comedy Central, he had similarly joked about Kareena Kapoor, claiming she owned multiple flats in Bandra. Kareena, much like Karisma, had brushed off the comment with a casual and amused response.

The friendly exchange highlighted the strong bond Akshay shares with both Karisma and Kareena Kapoor, with whom he has worked in several films. The segment was widely appreciated by viewers for its humor, warmth, and the easy camaraderie between the stars.
