On Thursday, Akshay shared a festive Instagram post featuring the full cast of his upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, wishing fans a Merry Christmas and giving a sneak peek into a scene from the movie. The video showcased Akshay in two distinct looks, generating excitement among fans.

The following day, the actor was spotted in the city wearing loose pants—an unconventional style that drew mixed reactions. During his outing, a differently-abled fan approached Akshay for a photo. The actor promptly took the fan’s phone and clicked the picture himself, earning praise for the gesture. While many appreciated his kindness, some noticed that he returned the phone rather quickly, sparking debate on social media.

Fashion Choice Raises Eyebrows
Fans had varied reactions to Akshay’s attire. While some admired his bold style, many others felt it was over-the-top, joking about his “quirky fashion experiments.”

Earlier, Akshay had shared a video from the set showing the ensemble cast of 25 stars, including Tushar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani. Akshay appeared in one look with long brown hair and a beard, and in another donning action gear, making him appear as the leader of two different groups.

‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The film is the latest installment in the popular franchise that began with Welcome (2007) and continued with Welcome Back (2015), featuring iconic actors like Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Mallika Sherawat, and Dimple Kapadia. The movie is scheduled for a 2026 theatrical release.
