In response to the criticism, Gaurav defended Akanksha, explaining to Hungama Studio: “The girls Akanksha was dancing with are part of my publicist’s team who worked hard during my Bigg Boss 19 stint. This was their party, and we were there to celebrate with them. Since I’m not much of a dancer, Akanksha decided to join in and make the moment special.”

He added, “Many of the critics don’t even know who she was dancing with. I simply stood behind and let her enjoy because it was a celebration for my team’s hard work. As for the trolls, I don’t care—they all have their own agendas and reasons for reacting.”
