Actor Gurucharan Singh, best known for playing Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has shared a heartfelt message for veteran actor Dharmendra, praying for his speedy recovery.
In a video recently spotted at the airport, Gurucharan was asked about Dharmendra’s health. Responding to the media, he said, “I read that he has returned home from the hospital. Please don’t give such tense news, yaar! We’re all praying for him—he’s my idol. May he stay happy, healthy, and first class forever.”
Expressing his deep admiration for the legendary actor, Gurucharan added, “We all grew up watching him. It was because of him that I felt inspired to join the film industry. Dharmendra Paaji, please get well soon! I really hope to meet you again soon.”
Fans flooded the comment section with warm wishes for Dharmendra and nostalgia for Gurucharan’s iconic TV character. Some even requested, “Why don’t you return to the show again?”
Recently, Gurucharan made headlines for launching a food outlet in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area, named ‘Veer Ji Malai Chaap’, sharing that “Baba Ji has blessed me and my family with new beginnings.”
The actor had been away from the limelight for quite some time and even went missing for nearly three weeks a few years ago, which had deeply worried his fans. Later, he revealed that he had been struggling with financial issues and lack of work during that period.
Now, with his positive outlook and entrepreneurial venture, Gurucharan Singh is once again winning hearts—this time with his prayers and pure admiration for the evergreen Dharmendra.
