Who is Kalpana Iyer?
Born on July 26, 1956, in Mumbai, Kalpana Iyer was a highly popular actress and singer of the 1980s and 1990s, appearing in over 100 Hindi films. She began her Bollywood career as a dancer in the 1980 film Lootmaar and got her first acting role in Humse Badhkar Kaun (1981). She was the first runner-up at Miss India 1978 and represented India at the Miss World 1978 pageant, where she reached the top 15 semi-finalists.
