UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2025: Online Applications Begin for Revised Vacancies

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has commenced the online application process for the UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2025 from 29 December 2025, following the release of revised category-wise vacancies. The revision comes after an increase in posts allocated to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.

As per the latest notification issued by the commission, a total of 7,994 Lekhpal posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Out of these, 3,208 posts are reserved for the General category, while 2,158 posts are earmarked for OBC candidates. The remaining vacancies are distributed among other reserved categories as per government norms.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official UPSSSC website upsssc.gov.in, where the registration and application link has now been activated.

Application Process

Candidates must log in using their PET 2025 registration number and password. After successful authentication, personal details already filled during the PET application—such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, category, domicile status, and contact details—will be displayed automatically.

Applicants are required to:

• Verify personal information
• Enter educational qualification details
• Confirm eligibility through a verification code
• Review uploaded photograph and signature (as submitted during PET 2025; no changes allowed)
• Declare any preferential qualifications, if applicable
• Accept the declaration and submit the form

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to General, OBC, SC, and ST categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹25. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or SBI e-challan.

After successful payment, candidates will be able to view, download, and print their completed application form. In case the print option is not available after payment, applicants are advised to verify the transaction using the “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification” option.
