Lucknow: Candidates eagerly waiting for UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 have received a major update. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has now taken responsibility for conducting the Home Guard recruitment, similar to UP Police SI and Constable recruitments.
The board has released a link for One-Time Registration (OTR) enrollment on its official websites. A notice regarding the OTR process has also been published, clarifying that candidates who have already completed OTR for previous recruitments do not need to register again.
OTR Registration Process:
Candidates can complete their OTR by visiting www.uppbpb.gov.in or apply.upprpb.in. Completing OTR ensures hassle-free application for Home Guard recruitment as well as future UPPRPB recruitments. The applications for Home Guard volunteers will be accepted online, and detailed guidelines and application links will be made available soon.
Step-by-Step OTR Registration:
- Visit the official website: www.upprpb.in.
- Click on “Create an Account”.
- Enter your email ID to generate an OTP, and verify it.
- Similarly, enter your mobile number to receive an OTP and verify.
- Fill in your personal information after verification.
- Create a password and save your registration number and password safely for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria for UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
- Height Requirement: Male candidates must be at least 168 cm, and female candidates must be at least 152 cm tall.
The UPPRPB will soon release detailed recruitment notifications and application forms, so candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official websites.
