Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate Trained Special Education Assistant Teacher (Class 1–5):
  Candidates must have 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks, and a 2-year D.Ed in Special Education for any disability category. Alternatively, a 1-year diploma in Special Education with 12th, or a postgraduate diploma in Community Rehabilitation along with a 6-month certificate in special needs education is acceptable. Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and a JETET teacher eligibility qualification for Class 1–5 are mandatory.
• Graduate Trained Special Education Assistant Teacher (Class 6–8):
  Candidates must have a minimum 3-year graduation in the relevant subject and a B.Ed (Special Education), or B.Ed (General) with a 1-year Special Education Diploma or 2-year RCI-approved diploma. RCI registration and JETET pass are required.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 40 years (as of 1 August 2025)
• Age relaxation applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Salary Details

• Intermediate Trained Special Education Assistant Teacher: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month (Level-04)
• Graduate Trained Special Education Assistant Teacher: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 per month (Level-05)
