Success Story: From Setbacks to Triumph – How a Mother’s Sacrifice Helped Siddharth Crack UPSC CAPF

For many, the road to success is paved with hard work, patience, and unwavering determination. Siddharth Saxena’s journey is a shining example of this. Hailing from Bisalpur, a small town in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, Siddharth aspired to fulfill his father’s dream of becoming an officer.

Early Life and Education
Siddharth completed his schooling at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Bisalpur. He pursued a BSc (Honours) in Physics at Delhi University, followed by a Master’s degree in History and cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET). Additionally, he completed a diploma in Elementary Education.

Facing Personal and Financial Challenges
In 2022, Siddharth’s father passed away due to liver failure, leaving the family in emotional and financial turmoil. Funding his studies became a major challenge. Witnessing her son’s dedication, Siddharth’s mother pledged and sold her jewelry to support his UPSC preparations.

Overcoming Failures with Persistence
Despite giving over 10 exams in a year, Siddharth faced repeated setbacks. He cleared preliminaries for IAS and UPPSC in 2023 but could not succeed in the final attempts. Unfazed, he continued his preparations with his backup plan of UPSC CAPF.

Triumph: Cracking UPSC CAPF
In 2024, Siddharth’s hard work paid off when he secured All India Rank 326 in UPSC CAPF, earning him the post of Assistant Commandant. His journey is a testament to perseverance, family support, and the power of never giving up on one’s dreams.
