
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) exam 2026 from 4th February 2026, and candidates are eagerly awaiting their admit cards. The SSC will soon release the exam city slips, followed by hall tickets, which candidates can download online from the official website: ssc.gov.in.
Admit Card Release and Exam Schedule
According to the SSC schedule, the MTS (Non-Technical) and Havildar exams will begin on 4th February 2026. Candidates were provided the option to self-book exam slots starting 15th January 2026. After slot booking, the exam city slips are expected to be issued. While there is no official update yet, it is expected that the SSC MTS hall tickets will be released by 1st February 2026, ahead of the exam. Official updates regarding the exam will be shared by SSC.
How to Download SSC MTS Admit Card 2026
- Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the Admit Card section.
- Click on the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 Download link.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Submit the details to view your hall ticket and take a printout for the exam.
Exam Pattern and Vacancies
The SSC MTS 2026 recruitment is for a tentative 8,021 posts. Applications were accepted online until 25th July 2025. The written exam will be computer-based, divided into two sessions:
- Session I: 20 questions each on Numerical & Mathematical Ability and Reasoning (60 marks), to be solved in 45 minutes; and 25 questions each on General Awareness and English Language (75 marks), also in 45 minutes.
