SBI Recruitment 2026: Jobs for Retired Bank Officials, No Exam—Selection Through Interview

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a special recruitment drive for retired bank employees. Interested candidates can apply through the official SBI website (sbi.bank.in) from 5 February 2026. Notably, there is no written exam for this recruitment. Candidates will be selected purely through shortlisting and interviews.

Eligibility Criteria

FLC Counsellors:

  • Retired bank officers or RRB officers from Scale I to Scale IV.
  • If insufficient retired officers are available, retired SBI clerical staff may also apply.
  • No specific degree required, but knowledge of financial institutions and local language proficiency is essential.

FLC Directors:

  • Retired officers from SBI, other PSBs, or RRBs in Scale II or above.
  • Candidates must have the ability to explain financial matters clearly and must be proficient in the local language.

  1. Visit the official SBI website: sbi.bank.in.
  2. Look for Advertisement No. CRPD/RS/2025-26/23 and click on the relevant recruitment link.
  3. Complete the registration process with a valid mobile number and email ID.
  4. Log in using the registration number and fill in your educational qualifications, 10 years of experience, category, and address.
  5. Upload all documents including:
  • Resume (max 1024 KB)
  • ID proof
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Photograph (20–50 KB)
  • Signature (10–20 KB)
  • EWS/Category certificate, if applicable
  1. Pay the application fee as per your category.
  2. Take a printout of the final application for future reference.
