RRB NTPC Graduate Exam 2026 Dates Announced: Exams to Begin from 16 March

New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the exam dates for the NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment 2026 (CEN 06/2025), which has 5,817 vacancies. The Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) will be conducted from 16 March to 27 March 2026 in multiple shifts across various exam cities.

Candidates now have about a month to intensively prepare for the exams. The official notice also provides information about exam patterns, admit cards, and travel authority slips for SC/ST candidates.

Key Updates:

  • Exam Dates: 16 March – 27 March 2026
  • Admit Cards: E-call letters (admit cards) will be issued 4 days before the exam. For the 16 March exam, the admit cards are expected around 12 March 2026.
  • Exam Cities & Travel Authority: Exam city allotment and travel authority slips for SC/ST candidates will be released 10 days before the exam, accessible via RRB’s official website.

Exam Pattern (CBT-I):

The CBT-I will have 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes, with 1 mark per question and negative marking of 1/3 for incorrect answers.

Recruitment Scope:

Successful candidates will be considered for positions such as Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Traffic Assistant, Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, and other graduate-level railway posts totaling over 5,000 vacancies. Candidates clearing CBT-I will be eligible for the next stage, CBT-II.

RRB has advised all candidates to check the official website regularly for updates and ensure they complete preparation and travel planning well in advance to avoid last-minute difficulties.
