Candidates eagerly awaiting the RRB Group D 2026 exam can now prepare to download their hall tickets. This year, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is recruiting for 32,438 Group D posts, with exams scheduled after the January 8-9 papers on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 February 2026. The official admit cards will soon be available on the RRB portals, and candidates can access direct download links as soon as they are released.
Exam Details and Pattern:
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Number of Questions: 100
- Subjects & Marks:
- General Science – 25
- Mathematics – 25
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30
- General Awareness & Current Affairs – 20
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer
Selection Process:
After clearing the Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates must pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
Physical Test Requirements:
- Men: Walk 100 meters carrying 35 kg within 2 minutes; 1000-meter run required
- Women: Walk 100 meters carrying 20 kg within 2 minutes; 1000-meter run required
Posts Offered:
Positions include Assistant, Pointsman, Assistant Bridge, Assistant Track Machine, Assistant Workshop, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant P-Way, and other related roles. Candidates will be allocated posts according to the preferences selected during the application process.
How to Download RRB Group D Admit Card 2026:
- Visit the official RRB website: www.rrbcdg.gov.in
- Go to All Notices → CEN 08/2024 (Level-1) Dashboard
- Once released, click the RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 Download Link
- Enter your Application Number and Password
- Submit to view and download your admit card; save a printed copy for the exam
Candidates can also download hall tickets from regional RRB portals: www.rrbcdg.gov.in or rrbapply.gov.in. Admit cards are typically released four days before the exam, so they may be available today or tomorrow.
Exam City Slip:
RRB has released exam city slips, allowing candidates to check their allocated exam centers. Candidates who have not checked their city slips can do so via the official link.
