
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the long-awaited interview schedule for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Recruitment 2024, bringing major relief to candidates preparing for state government jobs. The Phase-I interviews of RAS 2024 will commence from 1 December 2025.
RAS Interview Date 2024: Official Schedule Released
According to the official notification issued on the RPSC website, the first round of RAS interviews will be conducted between 1 December and 12 December 2025. Candidates who cleared the RAS Mains Examination can visit the official portal rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in to check the detailed notice.
RPSC will soon release the interview admit cards, which will include the interview date, reporting time, and important guidelines.
Documents Required for RAS Interview
As per the instructions, candidates must bring the following documents to the interview venue:
- Two printouts of the online filled Detailed Application Form (DAF)
- Original documents along with two sets of photocopies
- Latest passport-size colour photograph
- Original photo ID proof
Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview. Aspirants are advised to regularly monitor the official website for updates.

RPSC Secretary Ramanivas Mehta informed that the commission has also published interview schedules for three other examinations:

RAS Interview Pattern: Marks and Question Areas
The RAS interview carries 100 marks. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the Mains Exam and the Interview.
Questions in the interview generally focus on:
- Rajasthan’s history, geography, culture, economy
- State civil services, administrative structure, and governance
- National & international current affairs
- Topics from RAS Mains subjects and answers written by the candidate
- Situation-based questions
- Questions from the Detailed Application Form (DAF) and personal background
The RAS interview aims to assess the candidate’s personality, administrative aptitude, communication skills, and understanding of socio-economic matters.
