Candidates applying for the Railway Group D 2025 recruitment (32,438 vacancies) have received a significant update. The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has dismissed the court case challenging the recruitment process, ruling in favor of the Railways. This means 10th pass candidates are eligible to appear for the Group D exam.
With the court verdict out, the key question is whether the RRB Group D exam will proceed from 17 November as initially scheduled. While the exam was set to begin in just five days, admit cards have not yet been issued, raising speculation that the Railways may postpone the exam and release a new schedule, possibly in December 2025. RRB has not officially confirmed any rescheduling.
Exam Pattern 2025:
- General Science: 25 marks
- Mathematics: 25 marks
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 marks
- General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 marks
- Total Questions: 100
- Duration: 90 minutes (with negative marking)
Candidates are advised to continue preparing diligently, focusing on weak areas and practicing mock tests. This will help in understanding the exam pattern and improving performance.
Important Note: Do not trust any viral notices on social media regarding the RRB Group D exam. Following the CAT verdict, Railways is expected to release official updates soon. Candidates should regularly check the regional RRB websites for the latest notifications.
