Railway Vacancy 2025: RRB Starts Online Applications for 312 Posts, Age Limit Up to 40 Years

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has opened online applications for various positions under the Isolated Categories for 2025. Eligible candidates can now apply for roles ranging from Chief Law Assistant to Junior Translator and Scientific Assistant. The age limit for most posts has been set at 40 years.

Note: Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government norms.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Chief Law Assistant: Law degree from a recognized university with 3 years of practice.
  • Public Prosecutor: Law graduate with 5 years of experience as an advocate.
  • Junior Translator (Hindi): Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Staff & Welfare Inspector: Graduation in Labour/Social Welfare, LLB (Labour Law), or PG Diploma.
  • Lab Assistant: 12th in Science with Physics and Chemistry subjects.
  • Other posts have specific eligibility requirements listed in the official notification.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official RRB website: www.rrbapply.gov.in.
  2. First-time applicants must create an account by clicking on Create an Account and entering valid email, mobile number, and basic details to generate a registration number and password.
  3. Log in using the registration number and password, and complete the application form with details as per your certificates.
  4. Upload a recent live photograph (face clearly visible) and signature (black ink, 30–49 KB).
  5. Upload SC/ST/PH certificates or other relevant documents.
  6. Pay the application fee online and take a printout for records.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹500
  • SC/ST/PH and female candidates: ₹250
  • Refunds: Stage-I qualifiers in General/OBC/EWS will get ₹400, while other reserved category candidates will receive ₹250.

The online application window will remain active until 31 January 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying.
