Patiala District Court Recruitment 2026: Apply for Clerk and Stenographer Posts Before Deadline

Patiala: The Patiala District Court has announced vacancies for Clerk and Stenographer (Grade III, Adhoc) positions. Online applications are currently open, but candidates are advised to act quickly as the last date for submission is fast approaching.

Eligibility Criteria:

Clerk:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts (B.A), Science (B.Sc), or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Punjabi as a subject up to 10th standard
  • Basic computer knowledge

Stenographer:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A / B.Sc) or equivalent
  • Must pass English shorthand at 80 WPM and transcription at 20 WPM
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
  • Good computer skills

How to Apply:

  1. Download the application form from the official website according to the post.
  2. Fill the form carefully in capital letters by hand, providing details such as:
  • Name, Father’s Name
  • Permanent & Correspondence Address
  • Date of Birth, Age
  • Educational Qualifications, Work Experience
  • Computer Skills, Knowledge of Punjabi
  • Category and list of documents attached
  • Contact details (Phone / Mobile / Email)
  1. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and complete the declaration with signature.
  2. Send the completed application via speed post to the court before the last date.

The written exam will include English Composition and General Knowledge, each carrying 50 marks, with a minimum qualifying score of 33 percent.

Candidates are advised to prepare their documents in advance and complete the application process without delay to avoid missing the deadline.
