New Delhi / February 11, 2026: Students who have completed their education in the U.S. now have the chance to work with major tech companies like Google through legal work authorization programs. Google has recently announced openings under its America Sales Associate Program (ASAP), and students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) are also eligible to apply.
About OPT and Eligibility
Foreign students in the U.S. can work under OPT after completing their degree, in roles related to their field of study. OPT students receive an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), which allows them to legally work in the country. Google’s announcement makes it clear that U.S. citizenship is not required, but candidates must be willing to relocate to the designated office locations.
About the ASAP Program
ASAP is designed to train recent graduates for future sales and analytical roles. Participants work with Google’s customer sales teams across the U.S., gaining experience in sales strategy, leadership, and problem-solving. Google has announced openings for two positions under the program:
- Account Manager Associate – This is an interim role in which the candidate will collaborate with Google’s sales teams across multiple U.S. locations including Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Playa Vista, and other offices worldwide. Responsibilities include working with internal stakeholders and clients to develop ad strategies.
- Analytical Lead Associate – Based in Chicago, this role supports the sales team in analytics. After two rotations, the associate may be offered a full-time position.
Key Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (OPT/EAD holders eligible)
- Willingness to relocate to the specified office locations
- Recent graduates seeking mentorship and career development in sales or analytics
How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply through Google’s official careers website. Applications for the Account Manager Associate and Analytical Lead Associate roles are open now, with full details and application links available online.
