NEET UG 2026: NTA Issues Crucial Advisory – Ensure Documents Are Correct or You May Be Barred from Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important advisory for NEET UG 2026 candidates. Students planning to appear for the medical entrance exam must carefully follow these guidelines to avoid disqualification or rejection of their application.

Key Advisory Details

  • Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar card details are accurate, valid, and updated. This includes name, date of birth, gender, photograph, address, and biometric information wherever applicable.
  • Candidates with disabilities must have a valid, updated, and renewed UDID card. Using an outdated or invalid card may lead to issues during document verification.
  • Those applying under reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS) must ensure their category certificates are valid and issued according to government norms. Central government certificates will not be accepted if state-level formats are required.
