Join DRDO Without Any Exam: Paid Internship of ₹30,000 for UG-PG Students

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has opened applications for a paid internship program, offering a unique opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering and science streams. The internship is set to begin on 1 January 2026, and interested candidates can apply until 15 December 2025.

Who Can Apply:
The internship is open to students enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate engineering or science programs at AICTE or UGC-approved Indian universities or institutes. Applicants must have a strong academic record, with a maximum age limit of 28 years.

Selection Process – No Exam Required:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit, requiring at least 75% marks or a minimum CGPA of 7.5. DRDO may also conduct online or telephonic interviews if necessary. Final selection will be confirmed after document verification.

Internship Duration and Stipend:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000, totaling ₹30,000 for the complete internship
  • Stipend is paid in two installments: after 3 months and after 6 months of training
  • Students must be physically present in the lab for a minimum of 15 working days per month to be eligible for the stipend

The envelope must clearly mention “HRD Division”. PG students can apply for subjects like Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics, which fall under DGRE. Applicants will be assigned subjects based on their level of study.

This internship provides students with hands-on experience at India’s premier defence research organization, allowing them to gain practical knowledge, contribute to cutting-edge research, and earn a monthly stipend.
