Nearly 95,000 Students Appeared for Class 10

According to official data, a total of 94,783 students registered for the JKBOSE Class 10 Winter Session examination held in November 2025. Of these:

  • 68,804 students were from the Kashmir Division
  • 25,224 students were from the Jammu Division
  • 660 candidates appeared from Kargil

The strong pass percentage reflects improved academic performance despite a 15% syllabus reduction, implemented due to disruptions in the academic calendar.

Class 12 Result Expected Shortly

After declaring the Class 10 results, JKBOSE is now preparing to announce the Class 12 results, which nearly 70,000 students are eagerly awaiting. As per board officials, the Class 12 result is likely to be released around 2 PM today.

Earlier, Education Minister Sakina Itoo had confirmed that the government decided to declare both Class 10 and Class 12 results on the same day to avoid delays in admissions and higher education planning.
