Jharkhand Jail Warder Recruitment 2025: Apply Now for 1,700+ Vacancies, Salary Up to ₹63,000


Ranchi: Great news for 10th pass candidates in Jharkhand! The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has announced over 1,700 vacancies for the post of Jail Warder (Kakshpal) under the Home Department and Disaster Management Department. Both male and female candidates can apply for this government job, which offers a salary of up to ₹63,000.

  • Eligibility: 10th pass from a recognized board or institution

Physical Standards:

  • Male (General/BC/EBC): Height 160 cm, Chest 81 cm
  • Male (SC/ST): Height 155 cm, Chest 79 cm
  • Female: Minimum height 148 cm
  • Physical Test: Male – 1600 meters in 6 minutes, Female – 1600 meters in 10 minutes

Selection Process: Written Exam → Physical Test → Document Verification
