ISRO VSSC Internship 2026: Opportunity to Gain Hands-On Experience at India’s Premier Space Centre

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) of ISRO has announced its 2026 internship program, and registrations are now open. Interested candidates can apply online to work in a real-world space research environment while still pursuing their studies.

  • Program: VSSC Internship Scheme
  • Number of Seats: INT 07
  • Fields: Science (Physics, Chemistry) & Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, CSE, ECE, etc.)
  • Registration Start Date: 16 February 2026
  • Registration Last Date: 16 March 2026
  • Internship Duration: 1 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 (minimum 21 days, maximum 45 days)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduates: Students pursuing B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry)/Integrated M.Sc/BS-MS (Physics/Chemistry)/Integrated M.Tech up to the 4th semester with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 are eligible.
  • Postgraduates: ME/M.Tech/M.Sc students in the first semester can apply; previous degree marks will be considered.
  • PhD Students: Candidates pursuing PhD are eligible if their prior degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc/ME/M.Tech or equivalent) has a minimum of 60% marks.

  1. Visit the official VSSC internship portal: vsscinternship.vssc.gov.in
  2. Go to the Internship section and select the Current Internship Slot to view details.
  3. Click on “Login” using your registered email ID and password.
  4. Fill in your personal information, date of birth, address, and educational qualifications carefully.
  5. Upload scanned copies of all required documents. Ensure that the information entered matches the documents, as verification will be conducted.
  6. Submit the application.
