Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced a major apprenticeship recruitment drive for 2026, offering 394 apprentice positions across its Pipeline Division. Notably, the recruitment will be conducted without any written examination, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates holding ITI, Diploma, or Graduate qualifications.
According to the official notification released on IOCL’s website, eligible candidates can apply online from January 28, 2026, to February 10, 2026 (11:59 PM). The apprenticeship program aims to provide hands-on industry training to young aspirants while offering a monthly stipend as per government norms.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aged 18 to 24 years (as on January 31, 2026) are eligible to apply. Educational qualifications vary by trade:
- Technician Apprentice: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (including lateral entry after ITI or Class XII – Science).
- Trade Apprentice: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree holders are eligible.
- Data Entry Operator: Candidates who have passed Class 12 and are not graduates can apply.
Selection Process
Selection will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12, ITI, Diploma, or Degree—no written test or interview will be conducted.

The apprenticeship positions are spread across multiple states, including Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha, among others.

After registration, applicants should log in using their credentials, complete the online application form for IOCL Apprenticeship, upload required documents, and submit the form before the deadline.
