After completing her engineering, Divyav chose the civil services path, and with the unwavering support of her partner (now husband) Aditya Tiwari, she navigated the challenging journey to success.
Mechanical Engineering to Civil Services
Divyav hails from Narsinghpur district and has consistently excelled academically. After completing her schooling locally, she pursued Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation, she secured a corporate job but soon realized her calling lay in government service. Encouraged by her family, she began preparing for the MPPSC exams.
First Attempt Setback, But Determination Remained
In 2018, Divyav made her first attempt at MPPCS. She cleared the prelims but could not appear for the mains due to personal circumstances. Despite this setback, she stayed motivated, analyzed her weaknesses, and focused on improving her preparation.
Resilience Despite Result Delays
In 2019, Divyav performed exceptionally in both prelims and mains. However, result delays created another obstacle. Viewing these challenges as opportunities to strengthen herself, Divyav continued her preparation undeterred.
2020: Success as Commercial Tax Inspector
Her efforts bore fruit in 2020 when she was selected as a Commercial Tax Inspector through MPPSC. This achievement reinforced her confidence that a civil service career was within reach.
Strength in Partnership: From Boyfriend to Mentor
Divyav’s journey highlights the importance of support and guidance. Her partner, Aditya Tiwari, also a DSP and now her husband, played a crucial role in her preparation. From helping create study schedules to providing constant motivation, Aditya’s guidance was instrumental. Their teamwork ultimately led to Divyav’s selection as DSP in MPPSC 2019.
Tips for Aspirants Without Coaching
Divyav advises aspirants to first complete the syllabus thoroughly and focus on consistent revision. She emphasizes the importance of quality study material for mains preparation and asserts that even without coaching, success is possible with the right strategy and dedication.
