From Failing BSc to MPPSC Success: Madhusudan’s Journey from Security Guard to CTI

Facing financial challenges, he initially took up a job as a security guard but remained steadfast in his dream to become a government officer.

Humble Beginnings
Hailing from Agra Malwa, Madhya Pradesh, Madhusudan completed his schooling in a village school. He scored 62% in 10th grade and 72% in 12th, but failed in BSc, a moment that could have ended his academic aspirations. Yet, he refused to abandon his dreams.

Three Years of Dedicated Preparation
In 2017, he moved to Indore and began his preparation through an NGO-supported free library, dedicating three years to consistent study. His goal was singular: to become an officer. Despite societal pressures, doubts, and criticisms, Madhusudan focused on building self-discipline and perseverance.

Balancing Work and Studies
Financial constraints led him to take up a security guard job, working long hours during the day. Even after exhausting shifts, he continued studying late into the night. Every challenge fueled his determination, turning obstacles into stepping stones.

Facing Failure and Bouncing Back
In 2021, Madhusudan failed the MPPSC mains exam on his first attempt. However, he refused to lose hope. With renewed focus and determination, he addressed his weaknesses and persevered. His relentless effort paid off when he cleared the MPPSC 2022 exam, earning a position as a Commercial Tax Inspector (CTI).
