Study Abroad Scholarships: Many countries offer scholarships to attract international students, making higher education abroad more accessible. One such beautiful European country, Slovenia, is now inviting Indian students to apply for scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year.
Study in Slovenia: Known for its stunning architecture and natural beauty, Slovenia is home to picturesque lakes and scenic landscapes. Students interested in experiencing its charm while pursuing their studies have a great opportunity: the Slovenian government is offering scholarships that cover tuition fees ranging from three to ten months, depending on the program.
Applications are already open and can be submitted through the official website: studyinslovenia.si. The program is managed by the Center of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Program (CMEPIUS).

This scholarship is part of an exchange program. Students must first contact the international office of their current college or university to check if their institution has a bilateral Erasmus agreement with a Slovenian university. Only if such an agreement exists can students proceed to apply.
Eligible students will need to prepare key documents, including:
- Learning Agreement for studies
- Training Agreement for internships
- Mobility Agreement for staff applicants involved in teaching or training programs
These documents must be ready before traveling to Slovenia.
Key Details:
- Number of Scholarships: 24 students
- Deadline to Apply: 20 March 2026
- Eligibility: Indian students enrolled in recognized universities/colleges
- Additional Requirements: Students must also obtain a Slovenian visa or residence permit to study in the country.
This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for Indian students to gain international exposure, experience European education, and explore one of Europe’s most beautiful destinations while receiving financial support for their studies.
