DRDO Paid Internships 2025: Opportunity for UG & PG Students with Stipend up to ₹30,000

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering a unique opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain hands-on research experience through its paid internships in 2025. The internships are being offered at two prominent laboratories: Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ), and the Scientific Analysis Group (SAG).

Internship Details and Vacancies:

  • Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ): 20 positions
  • Scientific Analysis Group (SAG): 24 positions

Eligibility Criteria:
Students pursuing full-time UG or PG programs—B.E./B.Tech (Engineering), M.E./M.Tech (Technology), or M.Sc. (Science)—from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions can apply. Final-year students with a strong academic record, typically 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above, are eligible. Some labs, such as SAG, may require higher scores (85%/8.5 CGPA). Applicants must have no active backlogs.

Application Deadlines:

  • DLJ: 23 December 2025
  • SAG: 19 December 2025

Benefits of the Internship:

  • Gain practical exposure in research and technology development for six months.
  • Stipend: DLJ interns will receive ₹5,000 per month, while SAG interns will receive a total of ₹30,000 for the six-month period, paid in two installments (₹15,000 after 3 months and ₹15,000 after 6 months).
  • DRDO will provide a certificate upon successful completion, enhancing the student’s CV and future career prospects.
