CTET Admit Card 2026: When Will Candidates Receive It? Check the Trend to Ease Your Worries!

Every year, around 2.5 million candidates appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), and this year, millions have applied once again. Aspirants are eagerly waiting for their admit cards and exam city slips.

The CBSE CTET February 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on 8 February 2026. This exam is a gateway to securing a government teaching job in schools. With the exam date approaching, candidates are eagerly awaiting important details such as their exam center, reporting time, and schedule — all of which will be mentioned on the admit card.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the CTET 2026 admit card along with the exam city slip. Once released, candidates can download them from the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in. The exam city slip is typically issued before the admit card, allowing candidates to plan their travel in advance.

Trend of Admit Card Release
CBSE usually releases CTET admit cards just a few days before the exam. Reviewing the trends of the last five CTET exams shows that admit cards were issued 2–3 days before the exam. Based on this pattern, the CTET 2026 admit card is expected to be released around 5 or 6 February 2026, while the exam city slip may be issued in the last week of January or the first week of February.

How to Download CTET Admit Card:
Once released, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in
2. Click on the link ‘Download CTET Feb 2026 Admit Card’.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Verify the details and download/print it for the exam day.

CTET 2026 Exam Schedule:
The CTET 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts on 8 February 2026 in offline OMR mode.

• Paper II (Classes 6–8): 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Paper I (Classes 1–5): 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Candidates must report to the exam center one hour before the start of the exam.
