The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has reopened the application window for the post of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO). Candidates who missed the earlier opportunity can now apply online as the registration link has been activated once again.
According to the official notification, applications will be accepted from 5 December to 12 December 2025 on the Commission’s website.
Exam Dates Announced
As per the notice issued by BPSC, the AEDO recruitment examination will be conducted in three phases on the following dates:
- 10 & 11 January 2026
- 12 & 13 January 2026
- 15 & 16 January 2026
Candidates are advised to begin their exam preparations immediately after submitting the application form.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum:
- General (Male): 37 years
- BC/EBC (Male & Female) and General (Female): 40 years
- SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years
Salary and Selection Process
Salary:
The post carries an initial pay of ₹29,200 per month under Pay Level-5, along with additional allowances.
Selection Process:
Only a written examination will be conducted. There will be no interview.
The written exam will include questions on:
- General Language
- General Studies
- General Aptitude
Application Fee
All candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100.
